Network Operations Center
The Satsop network operations center provides network operations for the on-site colocation facility along with the infrastructure that spans the 1,400 acres. The operations center is staffed 24 hours a day, seven days a week, 365 days a year to assist customers' operations. Satsop's voice and data connections are fed from two geographically diverse routes — much more reliable than the single data pipes that feed most network centers. Priority equipment has redundant backups and the power supply is backed up by batteries and diesel generators. TechTell Corporation manages the center and also provides outsourced network management for clients that include telephone carriers, non-profit organizations, health care companies, distribution groups and public utilities.
